Interviewed by Ashanté Dlamini-Mthembu

When starting at Okuhle Media, Keleabetswe had no knowledge of how far she would grow and learn in the industry. Her time at Okuhle Media has proven fruitful and rewarding. Read on for more about her journey.

What did you enjoy most about your previous role as Junior Development Producer?
I enjoyed meeting people from all walks of life, the influential and those that are burning with ideas and eager to be heard. I enjoyed working with people who have a purpose, passion and great work ethic. That inspired me immensely!

What are you most excited about in your new role as an Associate and Development Producer?
I  look forward to learning all about production, acquiring knowledge on the mechanics behind making a show happen, i.e hiring crew and getting sponsors. I am excited about working with talent and different teams.

What advice would you give to young people who aspire to be in the production industry?
Serve others, be willing to start at the bottom and be a team player.

What are the first 3 things you can tell people about yourself?
I believe that we are all capable of doing anything we put our minds to. I am inspired by women like Oprah Winfrey and Maya Angelou who dared to do the impossible. I believe in the youth as the future of our country. South Africa has tons of stories that need to be told, we live in a country that is rich in both content and talent, yet undiscovered even by ourselves.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
My one superpower would be to travel to the future.
