Wie Is My Strooimeisie: Season 3 Wrap
Charles Fourie, Producer and Director of Wie Is My Strooimeisie, writes about the succesful wrap of the Production!
Hi all, I am very pleased to announce that WIE IS MY STROOIMEISIE Season 3 wrapped on Saturday 24 Sept, after filming 12 episodes in a period of 3 weeks. What and achievement, considering everything ran seamlessly during the shoot come rain, come shine.
It took 12 brides, 12 mothers, 36 bridesmaids, 1 buff boy, 26 fantastic location barters, 52 gift barter vouchers and other smaller prizes for our contestants, together with our main sponsorship partners Lekkeslaap.co.za, Genevieve MCC, Moments to Media, V-Secrets, and several guesthouses offering weekend-away prizes - to bring it all together.
Thank you to our wonderful crew and team; Warren de Vos, Ruan Saayman, Dexter Adonis, Zahir Isaacs, Caren Bester, Rory Avenstrup, Veruschka Doran, and Hendrik Stander for working long hours without complaining - well done guys!
And then a great thank you to Magda Smit who worked diligently to secure our brides and barters during pre-production and assisting with managing the crew on set - well done Magda you are a star!
Thanks to Wilna Van Schalkwyk for your guidance and advice.
Season 3 is now also in post-production and we welcome Stephen Bekker on board as our new editor who together with Colleen Knox has also within in 1 week managed to deliver Episodes 1 & 2 ready to go to final mix. Well done guys!
As of 3 Oct we embark on filming season 4 of WIE IS MY STROOIMEISIE with yet another bunch of brides and their strooimeisies. Here's to wishing our wonderful team all the best with the next phase!
