With a career in marketing and media, spanning more than 2 decades, Paula is Okuhle’s co-founder and CEO.  This  position sees her at the controls of driving the company’s vision of being recognised as outstanding content creators. These positions see her at the controls of driving the company’s vision of being recognised as outstanding content creators.  Combining her skills for developing strategy with inspired creative direction, Paula is a hands-on leader who has been intrinsically involved in just about every project the company has undertaken, from concept through to execution.  With an unwavering belief in delivering beyond expectation and a refusal to accept mediocrity, her vision ensures that a client-centric approach be adopted across the company. This attitude has garnered both Paula and Okuhle Media an esteemed reputation within the industry. 

Paula’s career highlights are numerous, including co-founding the company that produced and strategically managed the new children’s block, Craz-e for e.tv.  At the end of the contract, the core team went on to found Page to Pictures.  Her comprehensive knowledge of business systems and a natural entrepreneurial flair resulted in the company’s growth and success and ultimate transformation to Okuhle Media, one of few 100% female owned, Level 2 BEE media companies in South Africa.  With numerous accolades awarded to the company, the one of which she is most proud is Okuhle’s recognition as the Best Production Company in the Western Cape at the Cape Film Commission’s Imbongi Awards in 2010.

A mentor by nature, one of Paula’s strengths is her ability to recognize and develop the often-untapped potential within others.  She thrives on seeing people grow to their full ability and revels in experiencing the dynamics of the diverse Okuhle team as they work together, embracing differences and finding common ground and goals.  Everyone who comes into contact with the Okuhle Family she has created immediately feels a sense of belonging.  It’s pretty powerful stuff.  The circle keeps getting bigger and, with Paula at the helm, so do the possibilities.
